"Will the Church Run to the Prodigal?" Sermon • July 1

Addiction is all around us and regularly in the news. Pennsylvania is 4th in the nation in overdose deaths. Many families and individuals in the Church and the community are deeply impacted. We all know the parable “Return of the Prodigal Son” and in some ways we know it so well we miss how deeply we as individuals and the Church have played all the parts in the parable to the addict and their families. Join us as we explore how we as the Church can run to the prodigal addict instead of judging, shaming, isolating and separating as society has. This Sunday, Asbury welcomes Greg Krausz as our guest preacher.
