Reach Others in need though our Christmas Outreach

Are you interested in providing gifts for a needy family or individual this holiday season?   Stop by the Community Room beginning Sunday, November 24 and adopt an individual and/or family. Advent is almost here, but Writers are needed for Lenten Devotional

Contributors are wanted for Asbury’s 2014 Lenten devotional, Lead Me, Lord. Write a devotional of 250 words or, if you prefer visual arts, create a simple black line drawing to inspire.  Please contact Cindy Brown ( or 610-799-3634) for specific instructions or visit our table in the Community Room Nov. 17. Chili Cookoff to help Lay Leader in Liberia

Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual Awesome Asbury Chili Cookoff on March 15, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00pm.  You'll have the opportunity to taste and vote for your favorite chili from 40 to 50 pro and amateur chefs.  New this year is a Salsa (the food) competition and Salsa (the dance) lessons. Supplies Needed for Liberia

Necessities for Dr Chris Hena, Liberia, are being collected in the barrels across from the church office now through October 26. We are collecting medical supplies, school supplies and building materials/tools. "One Night Stand, The Silver Ring Thing"

CareNet is sponsoring"One Night Stand,The Silver Ring Thing" at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church on November 13th from 7 to 9PM. TSRT is an abstinence program for youth and parents featuring speakers, videos, music and even pyrotechnics! Parents are counseled on how to talk to their teens about the choices they make, how to foster good relationships, and how to be involved. Tickets are $6 online at and $8 at the door.
