2018 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Report

The Eastern Pennsylvania Conference met June 14-16, 2018, at the Philadelphia Expo Center, Oaks, Pennsylvania. Bishop Peggy Johnson presided. Bishop’s Day on the North District - Mon 10/1/18

Asbury is excited to announce that "Brewology" will continue through 2019. Brewology is a small group that meets at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at the Brew Works in Allentown. The annual Allentown CROP Hunger Walk is Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 1:30 PM. Please join us at St. Timothy's Church located at Ott & Walnut Streets in Allentown. Registration begins at 1:00 PM, walk begins at 1:30 PM. There will be two routes: "Golden Mile" and 10K Loop through Allentown. Grief Support Groups - Fall 2018

Grief is a strong, sometimes overwhelming, natural reaction to loss. Grief is both a universal and a personal experience. Change-for-Change September 2018: Designated for the Lehigh Valley CROP Hunger Walk

Asbury in Mission (AIM), the mission committee at Asbury Church, has a goal of every member being involved in missions. One small, yet meaningful way to participate is by placing your loose change in the Change-for-Change containers in the rear of the sanctuary each week. Change-for-Change was initiated at Asbury in 2001 at the suggestion of one of our AIM members as a means of supporting our mission partners and highlighting their work. Attention All Crafters: Anyone interested in helping with crafts for the Bazaar should attend our kick-off meeting being held Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 6:30 PM in the Aldersgate room. UMW's Sarah Circle monthly meetings to resume Wed 9/19/18

Sarah Circle monthly meetings will resume on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in room 217 at 7PM. At that time, we will be discussing what study we will do for the year – bring your ideas along to the meeting! All women are cordially invited to join us. Our meetings usually disperse around 9PM.
