2018 UMW Christmas Tea - Sun 12/2/18

The 2018 Asbury UMW Christmas Tea will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at 12:30 PM in the Wesley Center. A light lunch with beverages and desserts will be served with entertainment being provided by a String Quartet from Parkland High School. Our mission project is to collect items for The Lehigh Valley Children’s Hospital on Cedar Crest in Allentown. Tickets for the tea will be on sale in the Parlor/Community Room between morning worship services on Sundays 11/11, 11/18, and ...

"In Loving Memory" Ornaments for 2018

Asbury’s Health Ministry annually provides a special Christmas ornament for those who have lost a loved one the past year. There will be a table in the Community Room/Parlor on Sundays 12/2, 12/9, 12/16/18 for you to select an ornament and give tribute to his/her life. Change-for-Change November 2018: Designated for The Cherokee People of Cookson Hills, OK

Asbury In Mission (AIM), the Mission Committee of Asbury Church, has a goal of every member being involved in missions. One small, yet meaningful way to participate is by placing your loose change in the Change For Change containers in the rear of the Sanctuary or the Worship Center each week. 2018 Angel Tree at Asbury

This Christmas, Asbury Church will once again be participating in Angel Tree®, a program of Prison Fellowship! Angel Tree is a national program that links church families with children in local communities who have an incarcerated parent. The purpose of this program is to provide a gift and a memory to a child who might otherwise not receive anything from their parent during the holiday season. Help Support Asbury’s Programs Through Our Gift Card Program This Christmas

Asbury’s Finance Committee will once again be offering a variety of gift cards this holiday season that can be purchased through the church. Through this gift card program we sell gift cards at face value and Asbury receives a rebate amount between 5% and 15% depending on the card. UMW Collection - November 2018

For the month of November, Asbury’s UMW would like to ask for donations for a special project we are putting together for the Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital for Christmas this year. We are collecting colored pencils, crayons, bubbles, and Play-Doh to fill stockings for the children and siblings during this holiday season. Health Ministry Meeting - Sun 11/4/18

Asbury’s Health Ministry will have a brief meeting on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 12 Noon in Room 108. New members are always welcome. You do not need to have a medical background to be a part of this ministry. We are currently seeking a few more nurses to screen blood pressures in-between services on Sunday mornings. 2018 "Thanks for Giving" Food and Supply Drive - 11/4-11/18/18

The "Thanks for Giving" Food and Supply Drive in support of the Allentown Rescue Mission will be held November 4 – 18, 2018. Items most needed this year are: cereal juice coffee salad dressings tomato sauce diced tomatoes single serve items for boxed lunches bleach paper towels Large boxes and large cans are appreciated by the cooks who have to open enough cans to serve about 60 people per meal. Donation boxes are located on the lower level a ...
