Finance Committee Gift Card Program

Asbury’s Finance Committee offers a variety of gift cards that can be purchased through the church all year long. Through this gift card program we sell gift cards at face value and Asbury receives a rebate amount between 5% and 15% depending on the card. Asbury can use the rebates it receives to support its vital programs. These cards are perfect as a gift or just for your everyday shopping. Health Ministries' "Chat Table" - August 25

Asbury’s Health Ministry strives to promote informative subjects to increase mind, body, and spiritual growth for all members - from toddlers through seniors. As they plan their next season, they’re looking for your input! On Sunday, August 25 after the 9 AM service, head to the Parlor and visit their “Chat Table” to offer a subject, hobby, or other idea that they could provide information on for a class, circle, or meeting you’re involved in during the coming months.

Ramos Work Day (Help Prep for Their First Day of School!)

Join us at Asbury's partner school, Ramos Elementary at 14th and Allen, on August 24th to help get the campus looking great for Ramos students and teachers on the first day of school.  We'll be applying certified mulch to the playground, decorative mulch around the shrubbery, trimming shrubs, pulling weeds and picking up litter.  There is a job for everyone regardless of age.  We'll start at 9:00 am and plan to wrap it up by noon.  Email Dick McCreight at if you can help.

Through engaging video-based lessons and class discussion we walk you through Dave Ramsey's Baby Steps and get you on the road to being a better steward of your finances. Lay Leadership/Nominations - Fall 2019

On September 1, the Lay Leadership/Nominations group will start filling vacancies in the following administrative committees: Trustees, Finance, Staff-Parish Relations & Church Council. If you have suggestions of Asbury members who might have the skills, spiritual gifts & experience to serve on these committees, please submit the names to . (you may also suggest your own name) Please note that all Asbury teams need to be diverse in terms of gender, age, worship service attended, etc., so not all suggested names can be nominated. All names must be submitted by September 1. [NOTE: If you have previously said "no" to a nomination, you will not be considered again for a position until you inform the committee of your willingness to serve]

Update on Capital Campaign (July 24, 2019)

Donate your excess garden vegetables to the 6th Street Shelter. Drop off location is the Lehigh Valley Garden Center on Crackersport Rd at the intersection with Deerfield Drive (near Springhouse Middle School). Drop off day is Thursdays from 8-4.

Asbury Mystery Dinner Theater (Golden Girls) - Sep 21 (Buy Tickets Now)

Buy your tickets now to the Golden-Girls themed Mystery Dinner theater, September 21 at 6 PM. Tickets are $50/individual or $40/ea if an entire table of 8 is purchased.

Proceeds support the Asbury Capital Campaign. Dinner includes Pot Roast and Chicken with Potatoes, Vegetables, Dessert, Coffee and Tea. Doors open at 6 PM.  Dinner is served at 6:30 PM

Coolers Needed for WV Work Week Mission Trip

The West Virginia Work Week mission trip is in need of large coolers to transport food. If you are able to loan a large cooler, please label it with your name and place it in the hall outside the Wesley Center Kitchen on by 7/19 so they can be packed. Coolers will be returned on 7/27.
