The annual UMW Holiday Bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, November 4 from 8:30am to 3:00pm.
Get ready for some shopping, delicious edibles, a silent auction, and some fun for the kids!
Funds raised go towards college scholarships and missions.

Donations are greatly appreciated. We will accept gently used items and clothing, homemade jams and jellies, homemade breads and desserts, used books, handmade crafts, and exciting things to bid on for the silent auction. And…don’t forget…we would love to see your smiling face as a bazaar volunteer! To learn how you can help out at this year’s Bazaar, please contact us at   or call one of our coordinators Cyndi Frank (610-799-6079) or Wendy Wright (610-360-6666).

Used Clothing Section:

The Used Clothing section of the upcoming UMW Bazaar is requesting donations of wire hangers. Only metal hangers can be recycled. Plastic hangers usually cannot be recycled so please keep those and combination metal and plastic types for your own use. A large box has been placed in the lower elevator lobby for the hangers. Please add your donations before Monday Oct. 30 when our sorting begins.

The Used Clothing section of the upcoming UMW Bazaar will accept your donations beginning Sunday Oct. 29. Drop off area is directly behind the sanctuary. We request clothing be clean and labeled by size in boxes or bags if possible. The last day for donations is Thursday Nov. 2 at noon.

Craft Room:

Anyone interested in helping with crafts for this year’s UMW Holiday Bazaar should call Dee Riedy at 610-398-0508 or Pam Grossmann at 610-398-8066. We can use crafters during the month of September and October to help assemble items for sale at the Bazaar. Classes will be held at Dee’s home, schedule to be determined. We also need helpers to set up for the Bazaar on Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4.

10-Bean Soup Makers:

The UMW Bazaar committee is looking for 10-Bean-Soup makers!  We will sell already-made 10-Bean Soup in quart jars at this year’s UMW Holiday Bazaar. This has always been a quick selling item that many shoppers love to take home and warm it up for dinner! If you are willing to make a batch (4 quart jars + a little for yourself), we will supply you with one bag of 10-bean-soup mix, 4 jars, the recipe and directions. The soup should be prepared Thursday 11/2 or Friday 11/3 and delivered to the church Friday 11/3 or early Saturday morning 11/4. For more information, or to let us know you can help, please contact Carol Collins at momofkaya@gmail.com or 610-395-5245.

Silent Auction:

The Silent Auction needs your help! Gift baskets, tickets to shows or sporting events, gift certificates, vintage jewelry and collectibles make great donations. Services such as babysitting, gift wrapping, music lessons, dinners, vacation rentals and professional services are also welcome. Items can be dropped off at the church office Monday 10/30 through Thursday 11/2 the week before the Bazaar. Please contact Kim Grassi at 484-275-5456 or for more information.

Bakers Wanted:

Donations of bake sale items are needed for the UMW Bazaar on Saturday, November 4. All kinds of baked goods are appreciated, including home-made fudge. However, please do not bring any items that need to be refrigerated (cream pies, pumpkin pies, custards, puddings, or any desserts with cream fillings). Please clearly label what your item is, and list your recipe ingredients, particularly those that might cause an allergic reaction (nuts, peanuts, chocolate, milk, soy, or wheat). It is optional if you want to include your written recipe.

Please deliver your baked goods to Asbury Room 104 on Friday, November 3, between 4:00 pm & 8:00 pm. If you absolutely cannot get to the church until the day of the bazaar, then you may deliver your items on Saturday morning, November 4, by 8:30 am (the start of the bazaar). Please clearly mark that your items are for the bake sale. For more information, please contact Susan Peter at (610)730-8177 or Gale Garrick at (484)358-1975.

We would love to sell your jams, jellies, preserves, pickles, salsa, and any other homemade goods canned in a hot water canning bath. Please leave your labeled donations in the Aldersgate Room on the left side table on Friday, November 3 or before 8 am on Saturday, November 4 (the day of the Bazaar). Please contact Kim Campbell with any questions or if you need to arrange a different drop-off time, 484-714-0653 or .
