New “Drop-in Disciples” Adult Sunday School Class: Topics for January/February 2019

All are welcome to join the recently formed new Adult Sunday School class called “Drop-In Disciples”. This class is geared toward individuals who cannot make a weekly commitment and is open to all. Feel free to drop in when your schedule permits. We meet at 9:30 on Sunday morning in the Aldersgate Room. Topics vary according to whoever volunteers to lead that morning. Sometimes we discuss the sermon from the previous week. For the first two Sundays of the new year (1/6/19 and 1/13/19), the newly named Drop-In Disciples Sunday School class that meets every Sunday at 9:30am in the Aldersgate Room will be led by Carlen Blackstone. The class topic will be "A New Kind of Christianity" which will consider new ways that we can live out our Christian faith as individuals and in community. "Follow" Small Group - New Study Begins January 2019

Follow is a recently formed small group that began in spring 2017 after completion of the Starting Point program. Follow is a multi-age group of people who enjoy discussion and fellowship that meets on Wednesdays September through May (with time off around Christmas). We're beginning a new study of the book of Hebrews starting January, 2019. New members are welcome!


Sunday School Class Advent Study - 12/2-12/23/18

The Sunday School Class that meets in the Aldersgate Room at 9:30 AM each week will do an Advent study entitled "The Purpose of Christmas" by Rick Warren who wrote "The Purpose-Driven Life." Our time spent together will include watching segments from a DVD, followed by some lively discussion, and will be facilitated by Carlen Blackstone. Sarah Circle Meeting - Wed 11/14/18

Sarah Circle will meet at 7PM in room 217 on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 (1 week earlier than usual due to Thanksgiving!). We will be continuing our discussion on our chosen study book, Friendship: Sisters for a Journey by Jessie Seneca. We will be discussing chapters 3 & 4. All women are cordially invited to join our group! Our meetings usually disperse around 9PM.
