Sermon Series Small Group

There will be a small group meeting Wednesdays 7 - 8:30 pm at the church from October 29 through December 3 (not November 26) and it will be led by Carlen Blackstone. This group is for anyone interested in talking about the message given on the previous Sunday in worship during the "Wrestling with the Bible" sermon series. Come prepared to discuss the message from Sunday's worship service. Feel free to come when you can. No homework, no prerequisites, just fun fellowship in our faith journey.

New Sunday School Class - Revelation - Starting 10/26

Starting 10/26 we will meet immediately after the Contemporary service 10:45 AM - 12:00 noon in Room 217. We will begin by studying The Book of Revelation. Joe Pinto and Jeff Paiste will lead a 45-week exploration of the last book of the Bible, John's Apocalypse, considering two widely-held Christian viewpoints. Please join us! Join the Asbury Email Prayer Chain and lift up those prayer requests received by Asbury

Would you like to be part of the Asbury Email Prayer Chain? The prayer requests read in church on Sunday morning are emailed to you on Monday so you can pray for these prayer requests during the week. Additional prayer requests submitted to the office during the week are also emailed for prayer. Spend a few minutes each day in October to pray for Asbury and other United Methodist Churches

Join us in praying for the United Methodist Church.  Lift up Asbury and all United Methodist Churches in a spirit of WORSHIP from October 5 – November 2.  Prayer guides are available at the Welcome desks and online.

Have basic questions about Christianity?

Starting on Wednesday October 8th, Asbury will offer a 10 week Alpha course which covers the basics of Christianity.  It answers questions like Who is Jesus and Why did he Die?  Each Wednesday the group will meet at 6:00 in the Wesley Center to share a meal together, and then meet in room 217 to listen to a talk about on how Christianity approaches the question at hand and for group disucssion of the question.  Alpha is for adults of all ages and backgrounds.  For more informat ...

Explore "Come, follow me" in 6-Session Study

In the Dust of the Rabbi - Becoming a Disciple. Join us for 6 sessions as we study what Jesus meant when He said, "Come, follow me."  We'll meet every other Sunday from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in room 106 on 9/28, 10/12, 10/26, 11/9, 11/23 and 12/7. Looking for a Sunday morning small group to help explore your faith?

A new adult Sunday School class is beginning in September. Life-long Christians, as well as new believers of all ages, are welcome to join this small group of dedicated Christians who wish to explore their faith more deeply. Sunday Evening Dig Deep Bible Study resumes Jan. 26

Sunday evening's Bible Study, Dig Deep, will be studying Spiritual Disciplines such as guidance and listening, servant hood, Scripture study, meditation and more. Wednesday Morning Bible Study resumes

Rev Dr. Glenn Asquith will begin leading the Wednesday morning bible study (10:00 in room 108) on Wednesday January 15, 2014.  It will not meet on the first Wednesdays of each month. There will be NO evening bible study.  For more information, call the church office at 610-398-2577.
