Wednesday Evening Bible Study Group will be studying the Book of Acts – Starting 9/9

After starting with the Gospel of John last spring, the Wednesday evening Bible study will study the Book of Acts throughout this coming year. We will start the week after Labor Day and meet from 6:30-8:30 every week with breaks for holidays. However, it is fine for you to join in as often or as little as you'd like. Wednesday Evening Bible Study Group will be studying 1 John – Starting 4/15

The Wednesday evening Bible study group will start a 5-week study of 1 John. We will meet for 5 weeks from 6:30-8:00pm. The meeting dates are:  4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, and 5/13. All are welcome to attend even if you can only come once.  This study is particularly designed for those who have never studied the Bible before, but all are welcome. New Bible Study focusing on Elijah – Begins Sun 2/8

8-session Bible Study on Elijah will begin Sunday Feb. 8 and then meet on alternate Sundays from 7-8:30 pm in Room 106. The Gospel of John Bible Study -- Update

This Bible study is especially for those who would like an introduction to studying the Bible and anyone who wishes they knew more about the Bible.   We will meet Wednesdays, January 14 to February 11 from 6:30-8:00 (instead of 7-8:30), 6:30-7:30 on Ash Wednesday 2/18, and the Wednesday after Easter 4/8. Evening Bible Study Focusing on the Gospel of John

This Bible study is especially for those who would like an introduction to studying the Bible and anyone who wishes they knew more about the Bible.   We will meet for 6 weeks from January 7 to February 11 from 7:00-8:30 pm and discuss the first 18 chapters of the Gospel of John by doing 3 chapters each week.   We'll meet April 8 to look at chapters 19-21 after the church-wide Lenten study and celebrating Easter. Sermon Series Small Group

There will be a small group meeting Wednesdays 7 - 8:30 pm at the church from October 29 through December 3 (not November 26) and it will be led by Carlen Blackstone. This group is for anyone interested in talking about the message given on the previous Sunday in worship during the "Wrestling with the Bible" sermon series. Come prepared to discuss the message from Sunday's worship service. Feel free to come when you can. No homework, no prerequisites, just fun fellowship in our faith journey.

New Sunday School Class - Revelation - Starting 10/26

Starting 10/26 we will meet immediately after the Contemporary service 10:45 AM - 12:00 noon in Room 217. We will begin by studying The Book of Revelation. Joe Pinto and Jeff Paiste will lead a 45-week exploration of the last book of the Bible, John's Apocalypse, considering two widely-held Christian viewpoints. Please join us! Join the Asbury Email Prayer Chain and lift up those prayer requests received by Asbury

Would you like to be part of the Asbury Email Prayer Chain? The prayer requests read in church on Sunday morning are emailed to you on Monday so you can pray for these prayer requests during the week. Additional prayer requests submitted to the office during the week are also emailed for prayer.
