Asbury's Church Council Approves Plan of Applying for CARES Act Loan

At a special Charge Conference held on Friday, April 10, Asbury's Church Council voted to approve a motion to apply for a loan via the CARES Act. If secured, this loan will provide payroll protection for Asbury's over the coming months.

Year-End Giving at Asbury

The last opportunity for contributing tithes and offerings to the church in the 2019 calendar year will be Monday, December 30, 2019. Per IRS rules, the effective date of a contribution is when it is delivered to the church: ·      A check deposited in the offering in January 2020 cannot be deducted in 2019 even if it is backdated to 2019. Sponsor a Lift for Maintenance at Asbury

An opportunity has come for Asbury to purchase a lift that would assist with maintenance duties around the church. Currently the custodial staff needs to erect scaffolding to service lights and some equipment in the Sanctuary and Wesley Center. The parking lot lights have to be serviced by a contractor because of our inability to reach the light standards with the equipment we have on-hand. Update on Capital Campaign (November 14, 2019)

November 14, 2019 The Trustees are pleased to share the following Capital Campaign update: The previously communicated work being completed by Frank Cseve General Contractor is nearly complete. The most recent item completed was the replacement of the broken lintels of the Worship Center windows.
