Asbury's Church Council Approves Plan of Applying for CARES Act Loan

At a special Charge Conference held on Friday, April 10, Asbury's Church Council voted to approve a motion to apply for a loan via the CARES Act. If secured, this loan will provide payroll protection for Asbury's over the coming months.

Asbury's Christmas Eve Offering: Liberian Dental Clinic

For the past 7 years, Asbury Church has faithfully donated a portion of our Christmas Eve offering to support a ministry project of one of our Asbury in Mission (AIM) partners. This year, the committee has selected Dr. Chris Hena’s new Dental Clinic at Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia in Kakata, Liberia, to receive 50% of the offering collected at Asbury Church on Christmas Eve.  According to the World Health Organization there are only 23 dentists in Liberia serving a population of 4,000,000+. ...

Capital Campaign $50K Challenge Complete!

Finance Committee Gift Card Program - Holiday Season 2019

Asbury’s Finance Committee will once again be offering a variety of gift cards this holiday season that can be purchased through the church. Through this gift card program we sell gift cards at face value and Asbury receives a rebate amount between 5% and 15% depending on the card. Asbury's Mystery Dinner Theater supporting the Capital Campaign is on September 21; and we need your help to make it a success! Volunteers are needed for setup (12 PM - 4 PM), food service (6 PM - 8 PM), and cleanup (8 PM - 10 PM). If you're able to help, please contact Vendel Peter at finance@asburylv.org.

Asbury Financial Update: Church Mortgages

As you may or may not know, Asbury has Three (3) mortgages on our property.  Two (2) of the mortgages are with Wells Fargo.  The first of these mortgages is the original mortgage and was refinanced in 2013 in the amount of $1,245,130.31 at 3.90 %, with a balloon payment due in 2023.  The monthly payment for this mortgage is $7,533.50.  This is a typical commercial loan amortized over 20 years with a balloon after 10 years.
