Thanksgiving Eve Service - Wed 11/21/18

Asbury will be having an informal Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 7:00–8:00 PM in the Sanctuary. The service will include traditional and contemporary songs of thanksgiving, a time for group sharing and prayers, and a short message. It will be led by Carlen Blackstone, Christ Servant Minister—Speaking and Learning. All are welcome!


2018 Jubilation Ringers Christmas Concert - Sat 12/15/18

Ring in the Holidays with the Jubilation Ringers! The Jubilation Ringers annual Christmas concert will be on Saturday December 15, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Sanctuary. (Snow date: December 22, 2018.) This year's concert theme is "The Many Voices of Christmas" and will include music from the Lehigh Valley Youth Chorus. Advent Celebration 2018 and Other Special Seasonal Events

Saturday, December 1, 2018 Advent is the season when we pray for hope, peace, joy, and love to enter the world as we ready ourselves for Christmas. Sarah Circle Meeting - Wed 11/14/18

Sarah Circle will meet at 7PM in room 217 on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 (1 week earlier than usual due to Thanksgiving!). We will be continuing our discussion on our chosen study book, Friendship: Sisters for a Journey by Jessie Seneca. We will be discussing chapters 3 & 4. All women are cordially invited to join our group! Our meetings usually disperse around 9PM.


Barrels of Love for Liberia - Sat 11/17/18

2018 UMW Christmas Tea - Sun 12/2/18

The 2018 Asbury UMW Christmas Tea will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at 12:30 PM in the Wesley Center. A light lunch with beverages and desserts will be served with entertainment being provided by a String Quartet from Parkland High School. Our mission project is to collect items for The Lehigh Valley Children’s Hospital on Cedar Crest in Allentown. Tickets for the tea will be on sale in the Parlor/Community Room between morning worship services on Sundays 11/11, 11/18, and ...

"In Loving Memory" Ornaments for 2018

Asbury’s Health Ministry annually provides a special Christmas ornament for those who have lost a loved one the past year. There will be a table in the Community Room/Parlor on Sundays 12/2, 12/9, 12/16/18 for you to select an ornament and give tribute to his/her life. Change-for-Change November 2018: Designated for The Cherokee People of Cookson Hills, OK

Asbury In Mission (AIM), the Mission Committee of Asbury Church, has a goal of every member being involved in missions. One small, yet meaningful way to participate is by placing your loose change in the Change For Change containers in the rear of the Sanctuary or the Worship Center each week.
