Open Invitation to sing with the Chancel Choir Sundays 8/27 and 9/3

The Chancel Choir will be singing at the 10:30 am services on 8/27 and 9/3, and welcomes anyone interested to join them! The selections will be from the hymnal and familiar to everyone. If you’d like to participate, just come to the Choir Room (102) at 10:00 am to rehearse. Hope to see you there!

"Brewology" - A Theological Discussion Forum Continues Through 2018

Everyone is invited to join Pastor Eric Yeakel at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Brew Works in Allentown for our theological discussion forum called “Brewology.” There will be a specific room designated for these gatherings within the restaurant. The gatherings are open to our congregation members as well as the community. Donate your extra garden vegetables to the 6th Street Shelter

Got extra garden vegetables this summer? Why not donate them to help others at the 6th Street Shelter? Drop off location is the Lehigh Valley Garden Center located at 4220 Crackersport Road, South Whitehall - near Springhouse Middle School - on Thursdays from 8-4:30. Children and Youth: Join our Handbell Choirs

Asbury has a strong history of music in worship, especially through our handbell program. We would love for you to be involved in leading worship by being part of our children or youth handbell choirs. Children 1st through 5th grades are welcome to join the Faith Ringers and youth 6th through 12th grade are welcome to join the Apostle ringers. Kindergartners and First Graders: Joyful Noisemakers Need You!

Children enrolled in Kindergarten or Grade 1 are welcome to join the Joyful Noisemakers, Asbury’s vocal choir with the youngest members! Beginning September 6th, Joyful Noisemakers will rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:00 in Room 108 and share a song in worship at least once each month, September through May. Ramos Playground Work Day - Sat 8/26

We are thrilled to announce that the playground installation and site work is currently underway at Ramos Elementary School in the Allentown School District. Volunteers will be installing mulch and planting shrubbery on Saturday, August 26th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm so the playground will be ready when school starts in September. P.E.P. Club (People Enjoying People) 2017-2018 Meeting Schedule

P.E.P. Club (People Enjoying People) is an easy-going social/educational group for senior members and friends of the church. The group meets in the Parlor/Community Room at 9:30AM on the 3rd Friday of every month for coffee & fellowship followed by a program that starts at 10:15AM. School Supply Donations for Ramos Elementary School

While back-to-school season is still a few weeks away, the AIM Committee (Asbury In Mission) would like to challenge the congregation once again to help “stuff the display case” on the first floor with school supplies for the students at Ramos Elementary School.
