2017 CROP Hunger Walk Report

Asbury is excited to report that the Allentown CROP Hunger Walk held Sunday October 8, 2017 raised over $26,000. With the help of our "Asbury Spirit Team" of walkers and our ever faithful Asbury members, AIM, United Methodist Women and the CROP Hunger Bike Riders in June. Our team raised $5,342. Thank you to all of our supporters, walkers and bike riders for helping to make this possible each year. With your support we really are making a difference and helping our hungry neighbors!

2017 Angel Tree Party - 12/9/17

This Christmas, Asbury Church will once again be participating in Angel Tree®, a program of Prison Fellowship! Angel Tree is a national program that links church families with children in local communities who have an incarcerated parent. The purpose of this program is to provide a gift and a memory to a child who might otherwise not receive anything from their parent during the holiday season. Innabah Camp and Retreat Center's Annual Fall Race - Sat 10/7/17

Located in beautiful Chester County on 179 acres, Innabah Camp and Retreat Center offers a wide range of camping and retreat opportunities. Asbury Fall Clean Up Day – RESCHEDULED for Thurs 10/12/17

Asbury needs your help on Wednesday, October 11 from 9:30 am to 12noon. Our plan is to trim shrubs and weed the church grounds around the property. (Rain date is same time on 10/12/2017.) UMW October Collection

Through the month of October, the UMW would like your help with collecting food items for the Whitehall-Coplay Middle School Leo Club. They make 100 snack packs each month to help feed children grades K-12 in the Whitehall-Coplay school district over long weekends so the children have something to eat before returning to school. On Sunday, October 22 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, Asbury in Mission will be hosting a Mission Brunch in the Wesley Center to benefit the United Methodist Committee on Relief's (UMCOR) programs to assist those impacted by the recent hurricanes in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean. Volunteers Needed in the Community Room

Volunteers are needed in the Community Room on Sunday mornings once a month. Approximate set up time is 8:00-9:00 AM (could be done earlier). Help Support Asbury’s Programs Through Our Expanded Gift Card Program This Christmas

It’s not too early to be thinking about Christmas! Asbury’s Finance Committee will be offering a variety of gift cards that can be purchased through the church along with the current Weis and Giant gift cards. Through this gift card program we sell gift cards at face value and Asbury receives a rebate amount between 5% and 15% depending on the card.
