Supplies Needed for Cookson Hills Mission Team

The Cookson Hills VBS team is collecting supplies. Collection bins are located below the large display case on the lower level. Thank you for sharing in this ministry!

Food Drive for Everlasting Life Ministries a huge success!

Gary Millspaugh from the Everlasting Life Ministries and the Asbury in Mission (AIM) Team would like to thank the Congregation and all who have donated to the ELM Food Drive.  Your donations of food items and Change for Change during the month of May are greatly appreciated.  Asbury donated 741 pounds of food and $179 dollars to support this Allentown center city ministry.

Asbury Missions Yard Sale & Great American Bake Sale

The Asbury Missions Yard Sale & Great American Bake Sale will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 8:00 AM until noon. Drop off donations (household goods, jewelry, toys, games, books, CDs, videos, DVDs, small appliances, and furniture) in the hallway outside Wesley Center after 12:30 PM on Sunday, June 15. Chili Cook-Off buys Motorcycle

James Wymon and his motorcycleJames Wymon, the district Lay Leader in Lofa County Liberia, has been able to purchase a motorcycle with the funds raised at our Chili Cookoff in March. The motorcycle will help him greatly with his ministry as he travels the county visiting churches and distributing supplies, scholarships and funding for teachers and pastors.

AIM Food Drive to benefit Everlasting Life Ministries

Asbury will be doing a major food collection as part of “One Food Drive A Year” for Everlasting Life Ministries.  Everlasting Life (ELM) operates a large food bank at New Bethany EC Church at 224 N. 6th in downtown Allentown.  They distribute food every Saturday, and have been giving food to people in need for 30 years. Last year, ELM has made more than 9,000 food distributions, to more than 1,200 people, totaling 211,000 pounds (105 tons). Please bring in the food items starting on Sunday, May 1 ...
