Cookson Hills 2007

Asbury Volunteers In Mission is sending a team to Cookson Hills, OK from July 14-21 to staff a Vacation Bible School attended primarily by Cherokee Native American children. This will be the 6th year Asbury has sponsored a VBS team to Cookson. The VBS curriculum we are using is the same as that being used at Asbury this summer: "LIFT OFF!" Soaring to New Heights with God. The VBS will be held outdoors at the Cookson Hills Center on Mon.-Fri., July 16-20. In addition to the Bible lessons, crafts, games, songs and skits which comprise each morning's activities, we will also treat the children to lunch each day as well as a water park trip for the older children and a picnic and pool party for everyone on the last day. We are expecting an average daily attendance of 35-45 children. Team members are: Linda Arleth, Abby Ferrich, Susan Hughes, Will Kratz, Leah Kuhns, Jane Macko, Pastor Mindy, Randi Paul and Jarrod Walczer.
