Children's Ministry

Children's Ministries

With open arms, we welcome you and your family to Asbury! We have created a safe, loving place where your children can learn and grow in fun, experiential ways.

From birth to 5th grade, we seek to develop the foundation that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and loves us all. Whether the children are hearing a Bible story, creating with their hands and minds, or singing from their hearts, they will know that God loves them.  We also strive to impress upon our children, the importance of strong relationships and the value of being part of a loving faithful community.

Staffed child care is available on Sunday mornings for infants through age 2.  Children ages 3 years-old through 5th grade are encouraged to attend Sunday School from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Children develop generous, compassionate hearts by actively participating in a minimum of 4 local, regional, and global mission/service projects each year.

We also have children’s activities and events such as Vacation Bible School, A Night in Bethlehem, Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, Kids Club, J.A.M. (junior youth group for 3rd, 4th & 5th graders) and much, much more, planned throughout the year.

We invite you and your children to join us for fun, fellowship and development of faith.

If you have any questions or would like more information about any of the children's programs or events at Asbury, please contact Pam Unrath in the church office at 610-398-2577 or via email at punrath@asburylv.org

Weekday Educational Programs

Bright Beginnings is our weekday program for children who are at least 2 years, 7 months old. It is a precursor to Preschool where children are introduced to developmentally appropriate skills while learning to socialize with other children in a safe, fun and loving environment without their parents. Click here to learn more about Bright Beginnings.

We also have a Preschool program for 3, 4 & 5 year olds. We offer a variety of weekday options to help children develop social and learning skills in a Christian environment. The curriculum focuses on learning basic concepts and skills through hands-on experiences and activities. Through our program, each child is given the tools needed to encourage the growth of the whole child in preparation for Kindergarten. All classes include free play, art and learning activities, circle time with songs, stories and creative movement, snack, and physical education. Don't forget to check out Asbury's new and exciting S.T.E.M. Program for our older preschool aged students. Please click here to learn more about our Preschool Program.
