The Board of Trustees is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the church, capital improvements such as a new roof and the upkeep of the property. A full inspection of the building is done annually however, the condition of the building in monitored regularly.
The Board organizes the annual church workday that usually occurs in the spring. Weeds are pulled, trees are trimmed, mulch is spread and various inside tasks are completed.
Maintenance of the parsonage is the responsibility of the Board. An annual inspection is completed in the fall. The Board also administers investments for the parsonage.
The Board administers two scholarship funds. The Dilcher Student scholarship is awarded to full-time students 25 years of age or younger who have been involved with church activities the past two years in addition to regular attendance. The Jess F. and Evelyn B. Clarke Engineering and Music Student scholarship is awarded to full-time students 25 years of age or younger who have declared a major in engineering or music and have been involved with church activities the past three years in addition to regular attendance.
The Board meets once a month except for the months of July and December. Meetings begin with devotions and prayer. A time of fellowship follows when members share good news and positive events that have occurred in their lives. Members also take turns bringing their favorite snack.
