Safe Sanctuaries Training for Children and Youth Volunteers

A Mandatory Safe Sanctuary Training will be held Sunday June 2 from 12:30 - 1:30 in the WC.  Light lunch provided!  All volunteers who work with children and youth, and have not yet attended a training, are asked to attend.  Contact Linda Arleth (larleth@asburylv.org) to sign up for training.    

 

Hannah Circles invites Fellow Moms for Social Time

Asbury Children create connections with Liberian Children

Our children’s ministry team is a shining example of reaching our neighbors throughout the world with the message of Christ’s love.  As you may know, the C. The Garden of Eatin' Cafe will be serving several delicious Chinese meals on Wednesday, February 6th to celebrate the Chinese New Year.  We will also have child-friendly options available.  Join us anytime in the Wesley Center between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Garden of Eatin' Ash Wednesday Hours

Special Hours for the Garden of Eatin' Cafe on February 13th
On Wednesday, February 13th, the Garden of Eatin' Cafe (aka Wednesday Night Dinner) will be closing early due to the Ash Wednesday service.  The hours of the  operation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.  Please plan your meal accordingly...and enjoy!

PlayDays Registration begins in Feb. for church members

Asbury's PlayDays weekday program for 1 and 2 year olds will begin registering for the 2013-2014 school year based on the following schedule:   February 24 - March 3: Registration for Asbury Church members March 4 - March 10: Registration for returning PlayDays students, PlayDays alumni and Asbury Preschool families March 11: Open registration inside the Wesley Center entrance from 8:00 - 11:00 AM   More information about the PlayDays program can be found at http://www.asburyplaydays.org Read the rest of entry »

Asbury to Help Center City Kids through Tutoring

During worship on Sunday, May 3, a new opportunity will be presented where you can have an impact on children and youth in center-city Allentown. You can have the opportunity to tutor children at Ramos Elementary School in Allentown. You can be involved at several levels with our Asbury | Ramos Initiative.    Pray for Ramos teachers and students. Give an hour a week of your time to help a student with reading and math.
