Asbury's young adult group, the ARMADA, is off and sailing!
(I'm a news producer I live for plays on words!)
We had our first Bible study and I'd say it was a success (although I was leading it, so I am a little partial.) We started studying the book Facing Your Giants by Max Lucado. Everyone seemed to like the book and I, personally, look forwrd to our next study of it.

Asbury United Methodist Church is starting a group for young adults who want to "fight to bring their generation back to church!"
For our first get-together we hit the bowling lanes at Jordan Lanes in Whitehall. Everyone had a great time! As we look toward our next get-together we're also praying our group will grow. You don't need to be a member of Asbury to join, just someone looking for a group of Christians to spend time with having fun and growing in your faith. As a young adult group, we range in age from anyone who has graduated high school through your 30s. (If you don't fit into this age group, but are looking for a Christian group, let us know, we can point you in the right direction!)
We'll be meeting again on February 19th, time and place TBD. Please check back for updates.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Jamie Peter.

Since this past Saturday night I've heard from many of you that you'd like to be involved in small groups if we can work out schedules. (And keep th ...
